Dr. Cai, a VPG managing partner, will be teaching a summer workshop on item response theory methods using flexMIRT at Southwest University (SWU) in Chongqing, China starting August 23rd. Drs. Carrie Houts, Mike Edwards, and R.J. Wirth from VPG and Linda Deal, from Pfizer, published a literature review in Quality of Life Research entitled “A review of empirical research related to the use of small quantitative samples in clinical outcome scale development.”
Dr. R.J. Wirth, VPG President and Managing Partner, has been elected Co-Chair of the ISOQOL Psychometric Special Interest Group. He will take over as Chair-elect this October in Copenhagen at the ISOQOL annual meeting.
