Rikki Mangrum is the Director of Patient-Centered Research at VPG. She has an MLS in Library and Information Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Before joining VPG, Ms. Mangrum spent 14 years conducting research at the American Institutes for Research where she was a Principal Reseacher. Ms. Mangrum has extensive experience with qualitative and mixed-method studies- designing research studies, conducting analysis and reporting, concept elicitation, systematic literature and empirical reviews, and measurement development and testing. She is fluent in French and Dutch as well as competent in Italian and German. She has published in journals such as Health Affairs and Health Expectations and has topical expertise in post-acute and long-term care, chronic illness, patient and family engagement, and health measurement.
